Thank you! This is really so beautiful...and Oh my gosh, am I the only one who isn't hating Mycroft right now?!
My heart BROKE for Mycroft at this scene...I wasn't mad at him at all! Imagine if you had to choose between the lives of millions of innocent people, and the one person you love above all others...this own younger brother. That was definitely not an easy decision made...and come on, you could see the agony in his face when John blamed and confronted him. For my part, I love Mycroft more than ever. <3 TT^TT
(P.S. I didn't cry AT ALL during the episode, not even when Sherlock fell...but that one scene where Mycroft's reading the paper, and he puts it down and almost starts crying into his hands? Yeah, that broke me. *cue the sobs* Hopefully, next season his supposedly "horrible" reputation as of now will be redeemed. :'D ).
Oh! I was so depressed when I saw that suppressed anguish in Mycroft's face! It must have been awful to know that not only his plan went awry, but his brother was suffering for his mistake. More tears when I saw his reading the newspaper about the moment.
